Welcome to Anchor House Sober Living (“Anchor House,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of anchorhousesoberliving.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
The Site provides general information about Anchor House Sober Living and ways to contact us. The Site is not a contract for residency, and using the Site does not guarantee admission, availability, or placement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. No medical, clinical, or legal advice
Information on the Site is for general informational purposes only and is not medical, clinical, psychiatric, legal, or other professional advice. Anchor House Sober Living is not a medical facility and does not provide medical services through the Site.
Emergency notice: If you or someone else is in immediate danger or needs urgent help, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, you can call or text 988 in the United States.
4. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
- Interfere with the Site’s operation or security
- Scrape, harvest, or collect personal information from the Site
- Upload or transmit malware or harmful code
- Misrepresent your identity or submit false information through forms
5. Forms, inquiries, and communications
If you submit information through the Site (for example, a contact form), you agree that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
By contacting us, you consent to receive communications from us at the email address, phone number, or other contact method you provide, including follow up related to your inquiry. Standard message and data rates may apply if texting is used. You can request that we stop contacting you at any time by replying “STOP” (for texts) or by contacting us at the email below.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its content (including text, design, graphics, logos, photos, and other materials) are owned by Anchor House or used with permission and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for personal, non commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.
8. Third party links
The Site may include links to third party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third party sites, their content, or their practices. Your use of third party sites is at your own risk.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that information on the Site will always be accurate, complete, or current.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchor House and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site.
To the extent liability is not fully disclaimed, our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed $100.
Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anchor House and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third party rights.
12. Fair housing and non discrimination
Anchor House is committed to treating applicants, residents, and Site visitors with dignity and respect. We do not discriminate on any protected basis under applicable law. Residency decisions may include reasonable screening criteria consistent with program requirements and applicable law.
13. Changes to the Site or Terms
We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted to the Site with an updated Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where Anchor House operates, without regard to conflict of laws rules. If Anchor House operates in California, then California law applies.
15. Dispute resolution and venue
If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve it informally. If it cannot be resolved, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the county and state where Anchor House is headquartered, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Anchor House regarding your use of the Site.
